
About the author
Simonë Possenti Escamilla was born in Milan, Italy in 1995.

He currently lives and works in Aotearoa New Zealand.
​
Between 2014 and 2019 he conducted his studies in six European universities, traveling across Italy, France and Belgium, while specialising in geography, sustainable development and the European Union external action.
​
He had several experiences of work and volunteering in Africa, including in Uganda, Tanzania, Togo, and Mali. ​
​
Simonë started to write stories as a child, although it was in Rome, in 2012, that he got a first recognition being awarded with the first place in Italy Writes, a nationwide English-writing competition hosted by John Cabot University.
​
He had some publications in Italian and is now mostly working in English.
